Earthquake risk as a cartogram
The map below is an example of a cartogram - a type of map that uses AREA to show value. Here, each country's size is distorted based on its population. Areas are color coded by earthquake risk. One of the concentrations you can choose as a Geosciences major is Geospatial, where you learn to make cool maps like this and analyze spatial patterns in data to better understand this super cool planet we live on!
