Department of Geosciences
East Tennessee State University
Welcome to my web page and thanks for visiting! I'm excited about all things geoscience, but most especially about water, the environment, and spatial analysis and modeling.
I have taught and researched at ETSU since 1997, when my family moved to Tennessee from Toronto, Canada. I earned my BS in Mathematics-Science in 1993 and a MS in Earth-Sciences (Contaminant Transport Modeling) in 1997 from the University of Ottawa in Canada. After ten years of teaching at ETSU, I enrolled at the University of Tennessee and earned my PhD in Geography (Spatial Analysis and Watershed Dynamics) in 2013.
