Outreach and service

 

In the community I serve as President of the Boone Watershed Partnership, a partnership between citizens, municipalities, agencies, and the university. Our group works together to identify water resources issues in the Boone Watershed, and then addresses those issues. Here is where much of my stream restoration work is done. 

 

I regularly visit schools to do science programs, and counsel for the Boy Scouts of America Geology, Sustainability, and Environmental Science merit badges.
